iKeva raises funds to set up 15 co-working centres this year

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad headquartered co-working infrastructure provider iKeva has announced raising an undisclosed amount of funds from Meenakshi group to help its aggressive expansion of co-working spaces across major metros in India.

iKeva Founder Monika Mishra said it plans to expand by setting up 15 new co-working centres over the next 12 months. The co-working infrastructure provider, which had opened its first centre in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills in 2013, had added 8 more centres across 5 major metro cities – Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. It is set to open two more centres in Hyderabad over the next quarter.

“Collaborative work-spaces are displaying remarkable growth and we recognise strong synergies between the co-working model and traditional real estate,” said Mahesh Katragadda, director of Meenakshi Group.

Last week, Meenakshi Group has announced setting up a venture funding initiative with $10 million commitment to encourage new-age enterprises, innovative processes, and promising businesses.
iKeva’s co-working spaces range from 10,000-15,000 square feet and offer services and amenities including flexible fully furnished workspaces, high- speed internet, professional team, reprographics, high-end IT, among others.
