HYDERABAD, June 16, 2026: : PULSUS Group has announced plans to significantly expand its AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub in Ameenpur, Telangana, targeting 6,000 direct jobs and an estimated 30,000 indirect employment opportunities as it scales operations at its 35-acre campus.
The expansion follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that upheld the project’s IT/ITeS and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status, providing a clear path for accelerated development and fresh investment. The company said the decision brings long-awaited certainty to its plans to build a large-scale centre focused on artificial intelligence, healthcare technology, research services and digital operations.
Backed by a proposed investment of ₹500 crore, the Ameenpur campus is expected to emerge as a major hub for AI-led healthcare innovation, creating opportunities for engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers, data scientists and digital specialists.
PULSUS Accelerates AI Healthcare Hub Plans After Legal Clarity
“The Ameenpur project, located near Miyapur, was envisioned as a hub for technology and employment generation. Despite delays caused by legal and regulatory challenges, we remained committed to this vision. With the project now gaining ITES-SEZ status, our goal is to accelerate efforts to establish one of Telangana’s leading AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation campuses, creating more than 6,000 high-quality jobs for engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers and digital specialists,” said Dr. Gedela Srinubabu, CEO, Pulsus Group.
The company is building on a track record of large-scale employment generation. Parliamentary records under the India BPO Promotion Scheme show that Omics International, part of the PULSUS Group, generated 2,836 direct jobs by March 2022 and achieved its target of creating 6,000 jobs in Visakhapatnam, while supporting an estimated 30,000 indirect jobs. The records also recognise the company’s Ameenpur operations, where around 1,500 direct jobs have already been created.
Industry experts believe the convergence of artificial intelligence and healthcare is creating one of the fastest-growing segments within the global technology landscape. Rising demand for healthcare analytics, digital health infrastructure, research support services and AI-powered healthcare solutions is driving investment in specialised technology ecosystems worldwide.
For Telangana, the expansion represents another significant investment in sectors where the state has developed strong capabilities, including information technology, life sciences, healthcare innovation and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). Located near the rapidly developing Miyapur corridor, the project is expected to strengthen the region’s innovation ecosystem while generating employment opportunities for graduates and skilled professionals.
Beyond workforce expansion, PULSUS plans to collaborate with universities, healthcare institutions, research organisations, startups and technology companies to support innovation, research and global service delivery from the campus.
With development activities expected to gather pace, the Ameenpur facility is positioned to become one of Telangana’s prominent AI healthcare and digital innovation destinations, further reinforcing the state’s growing role in India’s technology and knowledge economy.
