The 16th S.R. Champions Trophy – a South Indian Inter Engineering Collegiate (T-20) Cricket tournament hosted by S.R. Engineering College will be held from January 3 to 9. Players from different states – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu and Telangana will take part in the tournament.
S.R. Group of Institutions chairman A. Varada Reddy said only 50 teams will be selected on first-come first-serve basis. The tournament will be held on knockout basis. The total number of players expected to take part is 800 in addition to the officials, coaches and physical directors of various colleges.Details can be had from tournament coordinator P.
